Panel: 2GIG Go!Control

Arm: From Security Screen, press, “ARM”, “STAY” or “AWAY”.

Disarm: To disarm when in STAY mode. From Security Screen, press “SECURITY”, “DISARM”, Enter code. To disarm when in AWAY mode,
Enter code.

Check Faulted Zones: Press “STATUS”

Bypass Zones: Press “ARM”, “BYPASS ALL”

Smoke Detector Silence/Reset: Enter code.

Chime Mode On/Off: Press “SECURITY”, “MENU”, “CHIME”

Change Code: Press “SECURITY”, “MENU”, “TOOLBOX”, “USER CODES”, “CHANGE USER CODES”. Select code to change.

DSC 9047, 9057

Panels: DSC 9047, 9057

Arm: Enter your Code OR press the "STAY" or "AWAY" button for 2 seconds.



Disarm: Enter your Code.

Check Faulted Zones: For the LCD Alpha Keypad press the [>] key to scroll through the open zones.



Bypass Zones: Enter [*][1] + [>] until desired zone displays [*] [#].

Smoke Detector Reset: Reset the alarm by pressing [*][7].


Chime Mode On/Off: Hold “CHIME” for 2 seconds to toggle On/Off.

Change Code: LED Keypad: [*] [5] + [Master Code] + [>] to display user numbers [01-16] + press [*] to select, then [New Code] to add or change a code. Press [#] to exit the menu.

DSC 1616,1832,1864

Arm: Enter your Code OR press the "STAY" or "AWAY" button for 2 seconds.



Disarm: Enter your Code.

Check Faulted Zones: Press the [>] key to scroll through the open zones.



Bypass Zones: Enter [*][1] then scroll to the zone to be bypassed and press [*].



[B] will appear indicating the zone is bypassed. Press [#]. Arm System.

Smoke Detector Reset: After silencing panel with Code, Reset the alarm by pressing [*][4] or [*][7][2].


Chime Mode On/Off: Hold down chime button for 2 seconds, or Enter [*] [6] + [Access Code]. Scroll to the [Door Chime] feature and press [*] to turn on or off.



Change Code: Enter [*] [5] + [Master Code] + [User Number 01-64]. You may also scroll through the list and press [*] to select a user number. Enter new 4-digit code. Press [#] to exit the menu.

Arm: Enter your Code OR press the "STAY" or "AWAY" button for 2 seconds.



Disarm: Enter your Code.

Chime Mode On/Off: Hold down chime button for 2 seconds, or Enter [*] [6] + [Access Code]. Scroll to the [Door Chime] feature and press [*] to turn on or off.



Change Code: Enter [*] [5] + [Master Code] + [User Number 01-64]. You may also scroll through the list and press [*] to select a user number. Enter new 4-digit code. Press [#] to exit the menu.

Arm: Enter your Code OR press the "STAY" or "AWAY" button for 2 seconds.



Disarm: Enter your Code.

Check Faulted Zones: Press the [>] key to scroll through the open zones.



Bypass Zones: Enter [*][1] then scroll to the zone to be bypassed and press [*].



[B] will appear indicating the zone is bypassed. Press [#]. Arm System.

Smoke Detector Reset: Silence the alarm by entering your Code. Press [*][4] to reset or [Code #, Code #].

Chime Mode On/Off: Hold down chime button for 2 seconds, or Enter [*] [6] + [Access Code]. Scroll to the [Door Chime] feature and press [*] to turn on or off.



Change Code: Enter [*] [5] + [Master Code] + [User Number 001-128]. You may also scroll through the list and press [*] to select a user number.

Press [0] to add a new 4-digit code + [New Code] or [1] to delete an existing code. Press [#] to exit the menu.


DSC 1550, 2550, 3000

Panels: DSC 1550, 2550, 3000


Arm: Enter your Code OR [*][0] for Quick Arm. Must have green Ready light on.

Disarm: Enter your Code

Check Faulted Zones: Zone light [1-8] will be red indicating open zones.



Bypass Zones: Enter [*][1][Zone number(s) to be bypassed]. Enter zone number(s) as single digits (1-6). As each zone is bypassed, the zone light will come ON. If a zone is bypassed in error, press that zone number again and the zone light will go OFF indicating that the zone is not bypassed.

Press [#] to return to Ready.

Smoke Detector Reset: Silence the alarm by entering your Code. Press [*][4] or [*][7] to reset.


Chime Mode On/Off: Enter [*] [6] + [Master Code][6] to turn on or off.



Change Code: Enter [*] [5] + [Master Code][code number][new 4 digit code]

The [code number] is a single digit either 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. Press [#] to return to Ready. If an access code already exists, it will be replaced by the new code.

Ademco Vista 10, 20

Panels: Ademco Vista 10, 20 Series


Arm: Code + [2] Away (Arms All) Code + [3] Stay (Arms Perimeter only).



Disarm: Code + [1] OFF.



Check Faulted Zones: Press [*] key. The keypad will scroll through all faulted zones.

Bypass Zone: Code + [6] + Zone number(s). Most panels use 2-digit zone numbers. Large Vista 100 and Vista 128 panels use 3-digit zone numbers.

Quick Bypass: Code + [6] Bypass + #. The panel will bypass zones that are open.

Smoke Reset: Smoke Detectors mostly reset automatically with these panels when alarm is silenced at the keypad. However, you may have to enter Code + [1] OFF again to reset the smokes.

Chime Mode On/Off: Code + [9] Chime.



Change Code: Code + [8] Code + User # + 4 new digits. Most panels require a 2-digit user number. A few panels have 1-digit user numbers. Try a 2-digit user number first. If that doesn't work, use a 1-digit number. Panels with complex configurations may require alpha keypads to change codes and will ask questions to complete after the above process is done.

Check Faulted Zones: Press any numeric key [0-9] and keypad will scroll through faulted zones.



Bypass Open Zones: If using Code to arm, hold last digit until panel arms over open zones. If using Command 1,2 or 3, press [COMMAND] and hold down the digit 1,2 or 3 until panel arms over open zones.


Smoke Reset: After silencing panel with Code, press [COMMAND][4][7] to reset smokes.
* If smoke has not cleared, the alarm may resound. Clear the detectors of smoke and repeat the sequence to reset.



Chime Mode On/Off: [COMMAND][6] turns on/off the "Watch Mode".



Change Code: Please call American Alarm Systems so we can walk you through this code change. Press COMMAND][5][5], Old Code; New Code; New code again. D8112A and D8112E panels, the command is [COMMAND][5]. 


Important Note: If you use Command 55, the user code will be a 6-digit number and the first 2 digits must stay the same (they are the user #). If you use Command 5, the user code will be a 5-digit number and the first digit must stay the same (it is the user #).

DMP XR-500

Panel: DMP XR-500

Arm: Hold down Keypad Button 3 for two seconds when leaving or hold down keypad button 3 for two seconds when staying at home.

Disarm: Enter code.

Check Faulted Zones: Press “CMD”, “MENU”, “YES”, Enter Code,“ZONE STATUS”.

Bypass Zones: Leave zone open, press “CMD”, “ARM”, “CMD”, “ALL”, “YES”.

Smoke Reset: After silencing panel with Code, Hold down keypad button 2 for two seconds

Chime Mode On/Off: Hold down Keypad Button 5 for two seconds.

Code Change: “CMD”, “USER CODES”, “CHG”, “USER NUMBER”, COMMAND”, “SELECT”, enter New Code, “COMMAND”.
